About Us

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd began their business in the Pahrump Valley in 1963. At that time, electricity had just come to the valley and one of their first projects was installing electric pumps to irrigate the fields. In 1973, the company began to install underground equipment for utility companies, one of the services the company specializes in and still provides today. Ron Floyd then began to diversify the company by going into excavation and the construction of Commercial and Industrial Steel buildings. During this time, the Floyd's also were raising their three children, Julie, Bruce and Michael. As the children grew, they too became involved in the family business. In 1994 Mr. Floyd semi-retired and is now in a consulting position. The children stepped in and are now running Floyd's Construction, Inc.
